INTRODUCING ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase #AFDS #new #fashionambassadors, Lê Bảo and Mai Dung | Vietnam.

DESIGNERS PROFILE:

Bao Le was born in Ho Chi Minh City, April 14, 1991. With a passion for painting and art from a young age, he studied and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Fine Arts in 2014 with a major in interior design. After graduating, Bao Le armed with a passion for fashion, he pursued and cultivate to work as a fashion designer at HATANG brand, a fashion brand for high-end women’s fashion for 5 years.

Dung Mai was born in Ho Chi Minh City, October 17, 1990. In 2014, she graduated valedictorian in fashion industrial art from Ton Duc Thang University. After graduating, she worked for 3 years as a freelance fashion designer with brands like Demurk, New York and Saii Studio.

In 2019, designers Bao Le and Dung Mai came together and launched their fashion brand – Été Project.

Été Project – The Brand

Été Project womenswear is about bringing the individuality of both designers into their designs.

A brand that is founded based on the true beauty of the unexpected. Minimally designed, thoughtfully considered as they use exceptional tailoring and unique textiles in all their creations. Été Project is located at 26 Ly Tu Trong, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, which is a favourite shopping place of fashionistas.

Bao Le and Dung Mai, both relatively young designers stand tall today knowing that they have carved their own territory in the fashion industry where one risky move can make or break a designer.

Bao Le and Dung Mai are esteemed members of the ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase representing Vietnam.
